Done with Chinese New Year! -Thank the heavens! I usually breathe a sigh of relief after the CNY, because I am always loaded with a ton of work right before CNY. *Also done with Valentine’s day. Kei and I opted not to celebrate on the date itself. We celebrated by going to our favorite ramen place. We also managed to spend time with my best friend and surprise her with some chocolates.
I had the usual wear red, eat out with the family, having nian-gao (tikoy), getting red packets, and watching lion dances.
After the CNY, the weather starts to feel warmer -there are days that are still chilly, and days that are hotter! I am not happy about that. Because hello breakouts and greasy skin! This means more trips to the dermatologist.
But we have to make do with the weather right? I am doing just that by gardening.
I am now trying to grow bell pepper in my patio garden. As of the moment I have (very tiny) seedlings, hopefully I could make them grow big enough to produce our own bell peppers to use for cooking. Summer is so near!
