up the game

I’m on a roll today! I crossed of half of my to do list for the week. Feeling excited to channel all my pent up anger energy into training later.

Since summer is already upon us, I am making extra effort in concentrating on my core. I am far off from being thin or getting abs, I have a different goal in mind.

I wanted to get better. Used to have dextroscoliosis on my thoracic spine (back in 2011), with the help of my friendly coaches. My patience paid off. My back is in a better shape normal right now. I can even deadlift half of my own weight. How’s that for improvement? *belts out Britney’s  stonger than yesterday….*

Time to step up. I’m gunning for a better stronger body figure.

I could use the extra confidence and endorphins, exercise brings.

Bring it Coach.

pranked

I was actually cautious of today since it is April fools day. I am doing pretty well avoiding pranks till this afternoon.

Saw my Coach’s status update on facebook that he was at France. I got pretty much excited. See, I wanted to ask for a French coin.

Or any foreign coin for that matter to add to my coin collection.

I eagerly messaged him to trade/ask for a coin. Turns out it was a April Fools prank.

I felt pwnd and just a bit sad. Oh well, Happy April Fools day everyone!

thankful friday

Its Friday! Other than being the start of the weekend, I am listing out my blessings.

To further practice my positive mindset.

Thus, thankful Friday.

thankful friday

1.) I am thankful for my newly straightened thoracic spine, From the annual physical examination result I got this week, My thoracic dextroscoliosis (from the past year’s result) is gone. Less back pain for me. I will just have to maintain the spine. Also, thank you to my very patient coaches, who patiently taught me how to deadlift properly!  And for my friendly gym friends, they really made me feel at ease.

2.) I will be baptized this Sunday! Excited to be officially part of my church. Also excited to wear the white ‘baptismal dress’ Kei gave me.

3.) Excited to meet my bestfriend tomorrow!

4.) For encouragement from my Care Group sisters and my Sponsors. Plus one of my devotions for this week. 1Peter 1:16 (In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.) Really apt, for the time being.

5.) For the my new assignment.

God is Good all the time.
