my go-to makeup this fall

Colder days are here! I am very much excited to play with makeup (without the sweat) because I can be lazy AF on hot, humid days. I was given a foundation to try on by a good friend of mine that led me to go ahead and update my makeup stash. Currently these are my go-to products.

These are the ones I reach out for. From left: L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Lips Nude Allude (314), Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup in 2W0 Warm Vanilla, YSL Black Opium, Mac powder blush in mocha, L’Oreal Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick 232 Beige Couture, Becca Macaron Glow Kit, Hourglass ambient lighting powder blush in Diffused heat, Happy Skin X Love Marie Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lippie in Skinny dipping

On lipsticks I recently tend to go for the subtle warm color, as it less hassle to maintain thoughout the day. So its mostly MLBB shades with a bit of warm brown. As for the Estée Lauder foundation that was gifted to me, I love how lightweight it is on my skin! I blend it with a beautyblender and its good to go. For the blush, I now favor the classic Mac powder blush in mocha that lends a subtle color to the cheeks and I top it off with Hourglass diffused heat.

Since I am new to highlighters, and honestly a bit afraid to try it out. I worry that it might make my oily skin look greasy. So I decided to get the Becca macaron kit to try using a highlighter, thankfully it did not add to the oily-ness look. I usually go for the shade Opal, I apply this with a light hand and using a fan brush.. it leaves a soft glow on my skin. This makes me look rested and healthy.

For fragrance I am back to using Ysl Black Opium as it is a very cozy scent. Hopefully this weekend I get to sort out my fragrances, keep the summery ones in favor of the heavier, cold weather appropriate ones that I adore!

I just need to add hunt for a few more things to my closet and I am ready for the holidays!

my summer picks for 2018

Since it has been warmer, I noticed I get oily/greasier faster. (My scalp also gets greasy.) While this is not unusual given the warm weather.. It makes my skin breakout. I need to change something on my skincare/hair care routine.  So, after much research and contemplating…I recently swapped my daily moisturizer for a lighter one with a higher SPF.

So, have been using the Biore UV Aqua Rich Essence with spf 50 for a week now. It has proven to be a good switch since my skin has ‘stabilized’ for the time being. While I still have some acne from the breakout, my skin stayed normal without being too oily by the end of the day.

For my scalp, I switched to Head and Shoulders shampoo in cool menthol. So far, I like using it as it keeps the greasiness away and it does have the refreshing feel to the scalp as well.

all the products I am using this summer season

To avoid sunburns for the extended amount of time that I will be out in the sun, I still rely on Dermplus sunblock in the spf 130 as it has proven to work well for me last summer.

I also switched my perfume for the more summery ones that I have, these days I tend to use Versace Eros for women- it smells good indoors/in an air-conditioned room, and I still love my trusty old Ralph by Ralph Lauren for women –used when I go outdoors under the sun.  Both are fresh, fruity, floral scents.

For the lips and nail colors, I am going for that ‘natural’ looking but still a happy summer-y color so I am sticking with corals. For my nails I got them in the shade Coralium from Chanel that is a coral color with a tinge of pink. It sure is bright but not neon, that is just perfect for summer days! As for the lips I am using the Loreal x Balmain lipstick in the shade confession -a pigmented coral/nude that is perfect for summer.

So far these are the products that I am using this summer. Till I find something to add to it.

What are your current summer staples?

This is not a sponsored post, I paid for this (from) my own pocket, with the exception of the nail polish that I am using -it was available as a nail color option from the nail salon.

can we talk about moisturizer?

I have given up on moisturizers and skincare stuff for a year now.

My skin condition stayed the same. Meaning: I still have the oily/sensitive skin and I still get pimples from time to time. My freckles are still there, maybe darkened up a bit. *It has been a while since I last used sunblock!

However the dermatologist approved/made toners and soap, stayed in my daily routine. No change on those.

But lately, I got to thinking that I cannot be too lazy for skincare anymore since I am not getting any younger and if I wanted to age gracefully I must get back on a skin care routine. So, I am going back to keeping a wash, tone, moisturize, protect regimen.

For my wash it is still the non negotiable acne-aid bar, toning for me is split into two parts clarifying and acne control, I am now on the lookout for moisturizer with a good spf. Plus a good non sticky body lotion also with a good amount of spf thrown in. While I want some sun protection, I am not really too keen on whitening. Hopefully the product is compatible with my skin, because if a product makes me breakout, I stop using it immediately and toss it in the dump.

candy and peonies

In this sadness inducing damp weather, I thought I could use a new scent. So, I spritzed on Prada Candy Florale a while ago.

Prada Candy Florale

Prada Candy Florale

Smells a lot like Peonies, a peony bouquet to be exact. Since I love peonies, it placed a smile on my face.

Prada Candy Florale = Peonies.  It is a safe scent (can be used everyday/day or night type of scent) that smells clean, sweet and very much feminine without being overpowering or cloying. It starts as a fresh floral, then a consistent Peony. After a while it starts so have a bit of a lemon/citrusy scent. Making this a good transition scent to the colder weather.

It lasted for about 3 hours before I have to spray again.

Do you have a transition scent? Share yours!

adding color

So I got sick, that explains my silence. -I do however have replied to most of the private messages sent my way.

It was a series! *Asthma, UTI, Flu and the usual back problem all throughout* There were days I feel ok then by the afternoon I am feeling not so super. That prompted Kei to get a vacuum cleaner and clean every inch of our home. Also stocked up on buko (coconut) and cranberry juice. Plus sort of force me to take vitamins and more water. –I have issues with vitamins and I dislike going to the bathroom often.

But I got myself some beauty stuff in attempt to look alive. Lols.

It’s all good, I am all good now.

And because cleaning the home means I have to wash my hands more often, I have been rather fond of these soap/hand soap and (the cute pink owl) hand cream combination lately. They keep my hands from getting rough.

I have also ditched drinking sodas and is now into drinking these vitamin infused juice to cool down. They look colorful and pretty!

The ones with the bunnies are the ones I usually buy. My favorite of them all would be the pink bottle that is kiwi-strawberry flavored with lutein – for better eye health.

That’s about all that is colorful in my (admittedly boring) life now.

Be healthy and happy y’all – till the next post!

Catching me (behind the scenes)

Surely you have seen the prenup shots. I also wrote about the HMUA for prenup day one and my wedding. Now, I am going to write about the prenup day two HMUA. And right now I am apologizing for the lack of photos.

Since my prenup consists of two days of different shoots, I have to look for a hair and makeup artist to be with us on day two of the shoot that is at UST – University of Santo Tomas. I asked my friends for recommendations and Katchie’s name popped up on the list of recommended artists.

I called to inquire and book. Judging from the conversation we had, I am going to hit it off with her. So I booked the date. And just my luck… the shoot date happened to coincide with the yearly USTET (that we were caught by surprise), plus the normal ROTC sunday (this was expected).

*UST – easily agrees to shoots on Sundays, because there are no classes on Sundays. It is where we graduated college and it is one of the most photogenic universities in Asia. – You can also see the photo below on my prenup post.

UST shot1

Katchie Mejias has a very catchy name (easy recall) and I am very grateful to her not only because she did my hair and makeup in the hot and humid UST grandstand cr (fellow Thomasians would know that cr is like a huge sauna) with a bunch of female ROTC cadets and only one electric outlet that was mounted in the ceiling. Kind of mission impossible/against all odds but Katchie pulled it off. Flawlessly.

photo from Katchie's instagram

Katchie – photo from Katchie’s instagram

Well, it doesn’t come as a surprise because Katchie is Mega’s Top Fashion Crew winner (MFC1 season 1 winner-hairstyling category), and if that is not impressive enough She also Mastered with Val Garland, handles a ton of magazine shoots and also does Special fx& Prosthetics. *She is also makeup artist of brands like mac and loreal…etc.  and she also does Yeng Constantino’s hair & Makeup! –  because we love Yeng Constantino.

I haven’t been able to talk to her that much and due to the heat and time constraints. We got her lunch and I left her at the Alfredo M. Velayo Building (in the middle) of UST and went on to Beato Angelico (the Architecture/Fine Arts bldg. corner of P.Noval and Espana), Run off to the fountains and back to main bldg, where I found her patiently waiting for me. Then hurriedly creating another look and then wait again. I really felt bad for her, ang init ng araw nun (it was really hot and humid that day!). She is also carrying her traincase of makeup and stuff.

the traincase of purple brushes - photo from Katchie's instagram

And because everything is always hurried, she dropped her phone! (the screen cracked) I could see the shock in her face.  Honestly, If I were in her shoes that day, I would have thrown a fit and hurriedly go away. But even so, she soldiered on with me.

After the intense heat, it rained. She was still waiting for me, this time at the pavilion near UST gym. As she created my last look and took pictures of me. I really felt sad and kept on saying sorry over and over again. She even gave me a can of hairspray to help me get though the shoot.

Despite the sweltering heat and the unfavorable/unfair condition, Katchie managed to create these looks for me.

Making me look fresh inspite of the weather is not an easy feat.

Making me look fresh inspite of the weather is not an easy feat.

After 3 looks, and I did not keep count of the retouch… she left. I looked good but I felt awful. Again I am sorry Katchie.

Summing it all up, I have witnessed professionalism at its finest. The amount of skill and heart in doing makeup is no joke. Katchie, we are forever grateful. Thank you.

5outof5

I give Katchie 5 out of 5! Professional, patient and kind with the skills to match, she is also very helpful and friendly. She is good at delivering clear skin with a youthful vibe kind of look that feels lightweight.

**No. not giving her the 5 out of 5 just because I felt sorry for her. Katchie really have the skills to boot. See her works here

meet my fairy godmother, Krist!

*So, since I will be catching up on all wedding related posts. Expect the next ten posts (or more) to be about the wedding.

I’m going to talk about the quest for my HMUA- Hair and make up artist. Warning: text heavy with a lot of pictures at the end ok?!

Being the obsessive compulsive girl that I am, I pored over thick stacks of wedding magazines (namely Wedding Essentials, I have been reading since 2013) and appreciated the works of this one HMUA (that is Krist Bansuelo). But I believed that it would be out of my budget to get Krist, beacuse for one, I am not a celebrity (most of his clients are), Krist is one of the most sought after makeup artists in the Philippines (top notch) and I don’t have the funds (or so I thought).

this was taken from Krist's instagram. I wasnt kidding when I tell you that Krist does celebrities

I wasn’t kidding when I tell you that Krist does celebrities. That is Toni Gonzaga (on her wedding day) in the top left! and the bottom right with the heart icon would be yours truly. (taken from Krist’s instagram account.)

Again, I scoured the internet to look for a HMUA that I think is within my budget and does the look I want. *I wanted bigger dramatic eyes as I am Chinese, and that natural glowing skin. I preferred someone who understands small eyes, and what better than to find a HMUA with eyes like mine too?! So I looked for a Chinese HMUA and promptly found one that I will hide (in an initial) Miss C. So, I asked for her rates and contact details via facebook (where I found her along with photos of her dramatic before and after transform-ative magic). I thought her rates is quite steep but if she delivers why not?! I wanted to book her asap.

Miss C. Doesn’t want to accept my reservation saying that I was too early. (It was mid 2014, I was booking for 2015) She had a point. And told me that I get back at her again by early January 2015 as she was busy with a beauty pageant that time. So, January 2015 rolled around… Again I messaged her (this was as early as January 2) to save my date and asked for her bank details so I can make a reservation. I got a curt reply from Miss C saying she was already booked and  if I still wanted to avail of her services, she would double book me with the other bride but I cannot pick my schedule, I will be made up by 5am so that she can still go to the other bride’s preps. My wedding is 3pm if I did get my makeup done by 5am, most of the makeup would have faded off by 3pm. That leaves me with no choice but to decline. I told all my friends about what happened and we sort of had a theory that she was picking clients based on financial ability. (pera, pera lang ang labanan.) It is the moneyed one that she will cater to. *want to know who this Miss C. is?! leave me a private message.*

Feeling thrown off from the planning and hopelessly lost, as most of the top wedding HMUAs are booked a year in advance! Then I cried (buckets at that) and humbly asked for help from my friends. They told me to go for my top pick (which is Krist) who knows maybe it is the one for me. That was the time I had the guts to actually message Krist and ask for the wedding rates offered.

I got a reply within minutes and also a condition. Krist will only agree to be my makeup artist if and only if I go for a (paid) trial makeup session. To which I agreed immediately! Because it is only logical and practical to see and experience the HMUA’s work before committing to a agreement. I also thank God that Krist has no commitments on my wedding day as schedule can be quite a difficult problem to solve.

Krist gave out a reasonable quote. (I was shocked to know that I can actually get Krist to be my HMUA!) And there was no air of haughtiness or pretensions just a simple, professional and honest response when we got to talk to Krist on the phone. So, I explained to Krist that I will be using the trial session for my prenup or pre-wedding photoshoot. To which Krist agreed and we set the date for the trial and a pencil booking of my wedding date.

So my prenup date came and off I went to see Krist. In my excitement I came quite early and Krist had just woken up, but still friendly and professional. I calmed down and all the unease left me in an instant with his jokes and encouraging words. I was even given lemonade!

here I am in Krist's make up chair!

here I am in Krist’s make up chair! I have butterflies in my tummy so pardon the face.

After a few strokes of the brush and some curling iron magic later…

feeling gorgeous all thanks to my glam team!

sitting still while feeling gorgeous is hard work! I want to flash a huge smile!

et viola! Just the look that I was going for!

Surely you also have to see the some of the close up shots from our prenup/prewedding photos to better appreciate Krist’s work.

Still looking good! (one of the outdoor shot) – Credits to Reality Box

Safe to say our prenup/prewedding shoot went really well. (See the pictures in this post.) Thanks to Krist for the brilliant makeup!

It is a sealed deal, Krist will be doing my wedding makeup and I felt glad. I have one awesome HMUA! A kind one at that.

On the day of the wedding, it was pouring. I was very much nervous and also a bit sad. There would be no outdoor photos, what if the streets are flooded?, maybe my suppliers will be late, my guests would have probably stayed at home… and all those negative thoughts associated with the “close to stormy” weather.

*I was told that rain in wedding is a blessing, over and over by a lot of different people. Not really sure if they just say that as mock consolation offered as a temporary relief, or there is such a thing. Any thoughts on this?

and the magic begins!

and the magic begins! – credits to RealityBox

But Krist arrived early! We chatted for a bit (they calmed me down by getting me to laugh) and got down to business. Krist gave me the dramatic eyes I requested and the glam team thought it was best to make my hair in a side-swept bun (due to the weather *sighs*) insted of our original idea of a side-swept ponytail (the damp weather would make the hair limp).

a close look at my make-up! (I am wearing my alternative to the bath robe here!)

a close look at my make-up! (I am wearing my teal alternative to the bath robe here!)

so here is the result of Krist’s transformative magic! A better look at my hair. Hair by Rikka Villarey.

Look at my hair!

Look at my hair!

There are stubborn locks of hair that kept peeking out from the pins, and the glam team patiently kept on tucking the strands again and again to create a neat bun. Krist and the team assisted me all throughout! -from the getting ready pictures up until I am ready to leave the hotel. I am grateful for the time they gave me, they stayed way past the time I paid for. Stellar service.

Here is how I look like all made up!

Yes Krist posted a photo of me on instagram. I feel like a celebrity! squeals!

Yes, Krist posted a photo of me on instagram. I feel like a celebrity! squeals!

And here is another photo from Krist that shows my hair bun!

the look from the back

And up until the time I am to leave the hotel to go to church, Krist was there by my side.

"the make up can withstand crying"- Krist says.

the final touch and off I go.

My make up can withstand crying. Krist said as I prepare to leave.

I told Krist: “Ganda ng makeup ko, hindi ako iiyak, sayang ang ganda ko!” My makeup is gorgeous, I will not cry lest it be ruined, I will not waste it.Strong statement, but that was before I left.

*I did cry. And yes, my makeup stayed put.

And the veil was put on and off I go. Leaving you with the parting shot from the hotel.

ready for my closeup!

ready for my closeup!

Looking back I can say, the experience was magical.

Thanks Krist. You are a blessing to us.

5outof5

I give Krist 5 out of 5! – I strongly recommend Krist to brides-to-be. Excellent service, experienced, friendly and professional. It is easy to see why Krist is one of the most sought after makeup artists in the Philippines.

*Oh a quick note: Krist only does traditional make-up.

I also asked about the why? Here is the answer: Airbrush makeup application (when gone wrong) leaves streaks and smears. It is also too thin (because it has air and water) to be used as a foundation for acne, scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, or dry skin. It is so fine, it only works best on almost perfect skin. Airbrush makeup is never to be applied heavily. On the other hand Traditional foundation is more opaque, and has a richer coverage. It is more precise and detailed because it gives the artist control over the final outcome.

long overdue post: the prenup pictures

So here is my long overdue post: the prenup pictures.

I will be honest here, we were actually hesitant to post the pictures before the wedding because we didn’t want to spoil the surprise.

So it is only now. For that I am sorry.

(Of course, I did not post all of them…I just pick out a few to share. * I wouldn’t want to bore you guys.)

All these were shot by the incredibly talented team of photographers and also our friends from RealityBox. They are responsible for all the wonderful photos, despite all the troubles we met (Traffic, rain, angry/really nosy guards, uncooperative mob of people…etc.) looking at the photos, you would never have thought we were faced with obstacles.

~want to know more about RealityBox? I will talk more about them in another post. I still have to let you see my wedding photos.  *Winks!

So here are our Prenup/Pre-wedding photos!

We used this photo for our save the date and also for the photobooth!

We used this photo for our save the date and also for the photobooth!

We veered away from the usual garden prenups, and went for something dark, dramatic and edgy but still romantic because we also got locations that have been a part of our story. Inspired by a mix of Gossip Girl, Wong Kar Wai’s – In the mood for love, and Mafia. Yes we are kind of eclectic.

These were shot at Salon De Ning of Manila Peninsula.

Its a wrap! these are the last two shots at UST.

My Makeup artist is Krist Bansuelo for the Salon de Ning, Ayala Triangle and Makati Stock Exchange set of photos. The UST pictures were done by Katchie Mejias. *Yes, my make-up was done by two different makeup artists, because my shoot took two days to complete (due to the different location and concept).

Styling are all done by myself. As for my clothes, you probably know about all my dress adventures in this past post. Of course I had help from my mum, sister, best friend Joanna and my long lost but now found childhood friend Eds. I couldn’t have done it all without them.

fall favorites

We just finished the prenup shoot! ❤ So, I am back to blogging.

I’m just sharing the products that make me feel happy, pretty, girly-girl awesome. Even if I am a frazzled mess.

Nothing soothes my nerves quite like looking good.

Shallow, I know. But honey that is my therapy!

It sure is irrational that I go and get a lot of products and not use them everyday, I only use them on weekends. But I am still a girl and I’m just fascinated by makeup, dresses, and nail polish. Being pretty in general, like it would improve my quality of life?!

So, these are rightfully my fall favorites.

taken with my mobile phone- pardon the picture quality.

Since it’s fall season I darkened up my lips a notch. Currently alternating L’Oreal Paris collection star by Freida Pinto in Pure Rouge and Mac Rebel. These colors make me look polished and mature even if I only have baby powder on my face. -Added bonus: they make my teeth and skin look a lot whiter.

On my eyes, I am still on a roll with smokey eyes as it makes my tiny eyes look bigger and more awake. So the Urban Decay Naked Smoky eye shadow palette my cousin Jackie sent me gets a lot of love. I even managed to use it to create light eyes.

Depending on the color of the metal accessories I wear, I got metallic nail polish to match on my very short child like nails. I am using Zoya in Ziv (gold) and Trixy (silver). The nail polish is to add a bit of festive sparkle, after all it is only a few weeks to Christmas.

*All my reviews, opinions, and other stuff expressed here are my own and based on my own experience with the product. This is not a sponsored post, I paid for these (from) my own pocket, save for the eye shadows those were gifed to me by my cousin.

Keeping my strands: L’oreal Fall Resist 3x and Extraordinary Oil review

You can always find strands of hair in my comb.

Same goes for my towels, pillows, bags, scrunchie and many more on the floor. I shed hair like crazy. Even more so now, that I am growing my hair to below-the-shoulder-close-to-waist length.

I never paid much attention to it but I have decided to make a hair experiment. I collected my hair fall for a day. And actually counted each strand of hair!

Mine was a total of 75pcs of hair. (It’s normal to shed between 50 – 100 hairs a day.)

Here I am showing you a picture of my hair fall after combing my hair.

really sorry about the picture quality. I tried my darn best.

really sorry about the picture quality. I tried my darn best.

Take a look at my fallen hair. Yikes.

Intentionally took a picture of them against white background so that I can show you guys just how much hair fall I am talking about. Again I have long hair. And I wear my scrunchie daily-it is almost glued to my head.

So, I used this as my cue to go and try the new and improved L’oreal Fall Resist 3x anti hair fall shampoo & conditioner. Really loving the sleek packaging.

shampoo and conditioner

The shampoo smells yummy fruity! Lathers nicely and I love that the fragrance stays on the hair for a few hours and keeps my hair smelling fresh. –This is a huge plus for a city dweller dealing with the heat of tropical weather!

Along with the shampoo I also used L’oreal Fall Resist 3x Conditioner. It helps make my hair smooth and tangle free.

*If  you can remember I rarely use conditioner because of my skin (breakout)  issues, I used a very tiny amount of conditioner every other day.  So example I used shampoo and conditioner today, tomorrow, I will be using shampoo only. The next day it is back to shampoo and conditioner.

Also I believe that excessive conditioner would result in greasy/limp/heavy hair. So I take care to use the conditioner on the lower half of my hair and not from the roots. (That means from the middle of my hair to the ends.)

Both products promise to combat hair fall. Powered with Arginine, an amino-acid essential to hair growth, Fall resist 3x helps deliver triple action:

  1. Nourishes from the roots
  2. Strengthens the fiber to reduce breakage
  3. Hair grows stronger

So I gave it a try. After a week, let us check on my hair fall count after combing my hair again.

Look at the difference.

after

Again, I took a photo so that I can show you guys my hair fall clearly. I don’t even need to count. Photo is proof that it does work!

Reduction in hair-fall after using L’oreal Fall Resist 3x shampoo & conditioner! May I also add that my comb glides through smoothly on my hair now?! No tangles!

*I also tried not washing my hair. Yes I did. The effect on my hair lasts for 2 days! (shampoo today, tomorrow no shampoo?! No problem. No greasy hair!)

Did they live up to their promise? Yes! Noticeable reduction in hair fall after a few washes. I definitely recommend this shampoo to those dealing with hair fall and dry hair. The only con is it has silicone and SLS.

Now that I got my falling strands covered. I also have to deal with my dry and frizzy ends.

frizzy ends

frizzy ends

Yep, the look of my dry brittle and usually tangled ends. Again I tried my best to photograph it in white to show the strands clearly.

just look at that. T_T

just look at that. =(

This time, it is L’oreal Extraordinary Oil sublime hair enhancer to step up to the challenge.

  1. For normal or dry hair
  2.  Has 6 precious extracts of flowers.  (namely lotus, tiare, rose, flax, chamomile and sunflower)
  3. 3in1 use- Apply 3 or four drops before shampoo, before drying or on dry hair as a finishing touch.

Six flower extracts, I bet this smells good. Hopefully it works on me…

But what really got my attention is the bottle itself. (I am a sucker for packaging.) Just look at the classy gold glass pump bottle!

L’oreal Extraordinary Oil

love love love the packaging!

A pretty addition to any dresser. The pump on the bottle comes with a “lock” system that makes it easy for me to carry around on my bag without worry of product spillage. Real smart.

I have colored hair but still never bothered to look for product/s to maintain and nourish my hair. *I use my Grandmum’s home made coconut oil as a hair mask since I tried coloring my hair eons ago. (slather the coconut oil on my hair, massage and wear shower cap, before going to sleep then wake up to wash it all off. While this works. It is messy. And you smell like coconut the next day. Lols)

I tried this hair oil thinking that this is just some fancy hair shine, but I am happy to report that it worked really well with my dry and damaged hair. It added nourishment/moisture, reduced the frizziness and as expected, added shine. It also has a very nice elegant scent!

The pump is really easy to use. I used 4 pumps and that’s it. I use it after I toweled dry my hair.

it does seem to help the frizziness on the ends of my hair

it does wonders to help the frizziness on the ends of my hair!

Did the product work? A big fat YES! It tamed my “buhag-hag” hair (disheveled) caused by dryness.

the photo does not do it justice.  But my hair definitely feels better.

I’d say it works nicely for colored hair and also all types of hair. It gave my hair a naturally healthy look that did not look greasy! I also got compliments from people about my “new scent”, they thought I sprayed on perfume! Worth buying? YES! This product is holy grail status. I also love its scent very much.

side by side comparison.

side by side comparison both taken in a day.

On the Before photo: early morning I did my usual morning routine, towel dry my hair, wait for it to dry and use my scrunchie to tie it up into a ponytail (so, please disregard the bent caused by my scrunchie). My hair looks like that on a normal day.

On the After photo: Afternoon before going out I used the extraordinary oil on my hair and blow dried it. Result? looked like I had my hair rebonded. =)
